Nytt nummer av Bo tillsammansnr 43 – om öppna hus i kollektivhusen i månadsskiftet september-oktober, kollektivhus på gång (BoSams i Borgholm, Baskedal utanför Simrishamn), hur svenska kollektivhus väcker intresse i Tyskland och Korea, om cohousing i England och om samarbetet mellan kollektivhus och nyanlända i Sverige. Mycket är på gång, som Ulrika Egerö, ordförande i Kollektivhus Nu skriver inledningsvis.

2010 International Conference about Collaborative Housing in Stockholm – the Proceedings ”Living together – Cohousing Ideas and Realities Around the World” for downloading.

In 2010, Kollektivhus NU hosted the first international conference on cohousing. The Proceedings has since 2010 been available in print. Now, the volume’s well over 230 pages is available electronically.

Labelled Living together, the Proceedings contains all the papers presented at the conference, reports from the workshops, and – not least important – a review of concepts and terminology relating to different models of cohousing. With 150 participants from 20 countries, the realities of cohousing were shown to vary a great deal, and so were the terms used to express ‘cohousing’ in respective country.

Internationally, the demand for access to Proceedings has grown considerably, demonstrating the importance of the conference as a starting point for a growing international movement aiming to make cohousing an alternative in the housing market.

Det behöver byggas bostäder i Sverige, mycket bostäder. Men Kerstin Kärnekull undrar vilken sorts bostäder det är som ska byggas och menar att två viktiga perspektiv saknas helt. Det ena handlar om de äldres bortglömda bostadsbehov. Det andra om hur de boende vill ha sitt boende, yngre som mer seniora, om de själva fick bestämma. Men det jäser bland gräsrötterna…
